The project “Felixvision” (www.zs-tremosnice.cz/videonews.html) is the school video news. It is not just about everyday school life, but it is a great and in school region very popular tool of reflecting pupils’ and teachers’ work. Undoubtedly it gives to school and their colleagues abroad / eTwinning and Comenius partners from Finland Sweden, Germany, Turkey/ a lot of possibilities of fast communication during their international cooperation. It is a great way not just to share pupils’ and teachers’ information and knowledge in various subjects such as ICT, English, Civics, History, Geography, Science, Music, Handworks and other subjects, but at the same time it is a real eLearning. Felixvision and its “virtual classes”, that is common part of video news, has become one of the best methods of language practice.
Felixvision with its Czech alternate Felixvize belongs to the main educational integrative elements of the town. It supports pupils and teachers with activities in their school curriculum. It also helps teachers, parents, pupils and town institutions to create responsibility and positive feelings towards their school and at the same time it provides possibilities to learn partners’ countries of European family. Regular and responsible everyday pupils‘ work for each next issue also increases pupils‘ and their parents‘ relationship towards their local educational institutions and their educational aims. History: Pupils issue their “Felixvision” and its Czech alternate Felixvize almost every week and it has been working more then three years. The name of the project was chosen by school parliament and it started on 14.6.2007 in a form of international tool of fast communication among pupils from European countries - something like videobridge.
